FPV Batteries

Has anyone used the Tattu brand batteries as I need a couple of 4S xt30??

Good batteries seem to be as rare as hens teeth at the mo :slightly_frowning_face:

R-Line or FunFly ??

R-Line are well respected, not had any experience of the FunFly ones

Cheers

Not used for FPV but I use Tattu 6s 12000 regularly. Good kit

I have a couple of R-Line but they seem in hot demand as they were all sold out on unmanned Tec when I looked last :slightly_frowning_face:

Oky Doky Il look into them

I use the Tattu R-Line 850mah 4s on my Podracer haven’t had any issues with them so far. Seem decent to me :+1:t2:

First time I tried Tattu R-Line 850mah 4s on a pod racer, I trashed it to the deck. Luckily it wasn’t my kit.

Good job I built it like a brick because you sure did fly it like a brick!

Thought i’d resurrect this post from the past.

It’s time I dusted off some proper FPV drones now the weather is better and I need some decent powerful batteries that aren’t ridiculously expensive.

What is the go to batteries for 4s and 6s right now?
It’s been a while since I’ve invested in anything thats not DJI!

@group-fpv what do you reccomend?

SMC

I flew some for the first time at Crich on Sunday. I’ve never known such power and lack of internal resistance. Also they lasted what seemed like forever.

Big downer is that on UnmannedTech has them on their site and they’re all out of stock.

I’ve added “notify me” to every single one on there…

I’m currently flying 2 of these GNB 1530mAh 6S 160C LiPo Battery | HobbyRC UK

and about to get another 3 of these GNB 1850mAh 6S 120C LiHV Battery | HobbyRC UK

Will let you know how I get on with them all

I was using GNB from hobbyRC but haven’t been too impressed to be honest so turned to CHNL as they have a UK warehouse so you can find good bundle deals and they make good all round batteries, nothing to really right home about.

If you want absolute performance and quality rather than SMC or Tattu, I would recommend theFPV batteries, when in stock. Can also get great deals but have very good performance, just not always in stock.

Hi @DayZFPV, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

I’ll be getting a notification put on these also.

They look spot on. Sadly I want to acquire some for Sunday’s visit to Critch.

I’ve got a couple of these all be it smaller for my 2.5inch drone and thought they were pretty good.

The first one looks cracking with some real power!!

I’ve got a few GNB and a few CNHL and have found the latter to not last as good at the GNB.

The GNB I’ve got still work well and are probably over 4 years old now!.

The FPV bat’s are good but like you say - never in stock.

Thanks for the recommendations :+1:t2:

I never have a problem with any of my LiPo batteries.

I’ve usually crashed before they drop below 80%

I’ve had mine a while so several have been thrashed. Some may not have been discharge due to being a lazy bastard after a day of flying too :joy:
