That second one was a cracker :ok_hand:t2:

Gonna have to up the ante now and fly through the spokes on my daughters push bike while she’s riding it

3m, those are rookie numbers…
Mine is 9m long.

  that tickled me i have to say

Not an entry. Took the dog out for a yomp, but I flew like a complete nob

That’s odd. I popped to Willington earlier in the week and it honestly felt like I’d forgotten how to fly.

I’m still not happy with my video feed either. I can see me heading for digital if I’m not careful. Good job you can’t get the parts at the minute.

DJI is in stock everywhere :+1:t2:

I pondered for a while and gotta say I’m impressed with the DJI gear so far.

Gotta take the Nazgûl Hd out for its first flight soon.

Analogue looks shite after you’ve flown a little in hd. if you “try” you’ll want to buy

Here’s my provisional entry.
My flying has felt sloppy since I changed frames on my 5". I’ve figured out that because my original frame had the lipo mounted on the bottom, and I learnt fpv with it, going to a top mount lipo screwed me up.
I’ve gone back to a bottom mount and it feels a lot nicer to fly.

Christ yes… that’s how I felt at the bando yesterday.

I’ve been flying tinywhoops in Angle mode so much recently that even basic manoeuvres in Acro mode are alien to me… I tried a roll… and wtf… I did quite a nice flip though.

I good news we both were a lot, lot better at flying around inside the bando… Brendan was even doing some bloody small gaps with the 2", gaps the 5" could not physically fit though… and yes that was in Acro.

But we flew mostly the small drones yesterday(2" and 3"), and they don’t have enough power to even attempt a knife-edge.

Only 2 weekends left guys.
Don’t be scared, especially you dji fpv guys (you know who you are) worried about breaking their gear

You WILL have confidence. You WILL hit that gap. You may be able to roll 90 degrees whilst doing it thereby completing this epic trick and not total your £300+ quid quad.
3

Sure, you may fail on the first attempt. Even bust a prop or two.

But when you nail this mother it will feel

Oh crap. Wrong one

So get your packs charged (be careful with your mr puff packs, @Earwig )
Give your offspring a try and claim as yours if you have to (@Yith )
Hell, give that spanky pod racer a rip through some sweet gaps (@DeanoG60 )

ps. no holding the quad and running through a gap. We’ll know @BigDog

What if we dub over aeroplane noises like when feeding a baby? Will that fool you?

Isn’t @benb1202 a dji guy :joy:

I figure these are about 95% gap and 5% strut. So why do I hit the struts 50% of the time?

(edit: Yes, I know about object fixation.)
