Hi all, has/is anyone using a futaba or spectrum TX for flying their Dji drone.
Is it even doable?

Hi October, DJI is a closed system regarding its hardware, Its built and designed to work only with other DJI products. I don’t think anyone knows what protocol is used in a DJI Tx controller to replicate the signal.
Another reason why pilots are anti-DJI is due to this they can charge the price they like

Yeah I get the frustration of having different TX.
More so now with DJI.
By all means try and corner your market but at least make sure your tx is cross compatible with your own products especially at the hobby end of the maket.
They need a good dose of competition.
