I have just realised that Chrome can let you save the GADC website as an app, it looks like a desktop shortcut. I clicked the three dots in the corner, selected Save and Share and Install Page As an App and I got a desktop shortcut. it can also be done with Edge. I expect most of you knew that anyway.
