Gain & Expo Settings - Avata 2

Now that I’m 4 months into ownership of the Avata 2 and finally started to fly in manual mode, I’m wanting to have a tinker with the Gain & Expo settings.

I’ve watched a couple of YT videos on the subject, but they seem to contradict each other.

One advises to increase the centre sensitivity and another advises to reduce it.

I know it’s down to personal preference, but what difference does it make?

The Max Rate makes sense.

But what does the Expo setting change?

Appreciate there’s never one answer that suits all, but I know a number of members do fly their Avata 2 in manual and their able to throw their drone into spins, drifts, dives, etc…

But no matter what I try in manual mode, mine will not react in the same way as the more experienced flyers.

If anyone is prepared their ideal Gain & Expo settings, that would be great.

:+1:t2:

I copied some settings for cinematic from a youtube video then tweaked to get the outcome I wanted.

I don’t understand the science behind it so much so found that trial and error was the easiest way

Thanks for bringing this up, I’ve been wanting to do the exact same thing but can’t figure it out, haven’t had a chance to play with this yet due to other commitments and weather, but keen to know how to increase these rates as well for quicker reaction times, drone feels sluggish on default settings.
