Gainsborough by drone

This is my drone footage of the Lincolnshire town of Gainsborough. The large building you see at the start of my video is Gainsborough Old Hall and one of the best preserved medieval manor houses in England, built by Sir Thomas Burgh in 1460 next is Gainsborough market place then we have Marshall’s Yard, formerly occupied by the Marshall family’s Britannia Iron Works which was founded in 1848. The company built steam engines, threshing machines and agricultural machines which were exported all over the world. During the First World War, the workforce grew to 5,000 to cope with the production of munitions. Then its All Saints Church and Gainsborough Trinity Football Club. I end my flight along the River Trent heading north to the Humber.
