Gatehouse of Fleet, Scotland. Computer not required!

Over in Gatehouse of Fleet for another weekend and the weather/lighting was good enough to turn on the video option of my Mini 4 Pro. We’ve just started using AirBnB for our cottage so when Suz saw this video on the RC2 she asked me to upload it. Didn’t have a computer so I used the Quick Transfer option on the DJI Fly app to copy the video over to my iPhone. Then I tweaked the colour, added muzak and a closing title in LightCut - all very experimental on a tiny screen but looked ok to me. (You may feel differently but it was my first attempt!) Then totally fell over at the important step - AirBnB don’t let you add videos☹️

What a bunch of Neanderthals! Still their loss is your gain if you like South West Scotland.

Gatehouse of Fleet nestles in the Galloway hills and feels like a step back in time. It’s midwayish between Dumfries and Stranraer and has been bypassed by the A75. Loads of local history from medieval times right up until the Industrial Revolution. Enough said enjoy or maybe not….

Apparently YT have this planned for publishing at 11pm! Not sure how I did this…..

Rod @DISC , it looks like your video is set as private, which is a shame as I live not far from GofF and was looking forward to seeing it.

Somehow managed to add a Publish at 11pm option so it’s working now but it’s my first attempt so don’t get too excited😉

Nice video, never been to the centre but passed the place every night twice west/east when on night truck to Stranraer back in the early 90’s when on Dukes
