Nowhere in sight when I took off, this lot made a helluva racket flying out to the shoreline. I ducked (no pun) down but they ignored the drone so I carried on while they went wading. The shot was taken on their returned inland.

Funnily enough I went to Martin Mere , nr Southport, today with youngest daughter, when I pulled into car park there was an hell of a cacophony has hundreds (maybe thousands), descended on the mere. An absolute wonderful sound. Looking forward to squadrons of migrating geese over Blackpool in coming weeks.

Oddly I was on Sheppey today for a recce. I thought the Isle of Grain was the end of the world and civilisation …. I was wrong!
