Good day to you all hope you are well, I was wondering if anyone could help me at all.
I had a bit of a hard landing not so long ago with my diji air 2s and
“Gimbal IMU data error. Contact DJI Support for assistance(Code: 40021)”
Is now showing and I have no live camera feed to my phone, I believe it’s something to do with the gimbal taking a knock. The drone is still able to fly but as I said no footage or anything comes through on my phone, I have had a look online and they say to send it to the manufacturer but that means sending it abroad but I can only assume the cost will be high and also with the worry of posting it. My question, is there anyone here who knows a how to fix this issue without having to send it abroad and or are able to fix it themselves for a cost? Thank you all in advance.
Is the Gimbal still working and moving correctly?
Yes the gimbal is still working and moving, there’s just no video connection.
You don’t say which model of drone this relates to … which would help others to advise.
There was a similar gimbal related code report the other day … that was resolved by reconnecting a cable that had come lose Worth making sure they’re all well seated.
Thanks for the reply, I had mentioned in the first part of the question that the model is a diji air 2s.
Thank you for the advice I shall have a look and see if there are any loose cables inside.

Ha - quick scan and missed the lower case DJI.
Have had to order a mini screwe driver set so fingers crossed when that arrives and I get to open it up that’s what the case is and easily fixable. Thank you again.

There are videos on YT showing how to disassemble an Air 2, I would watch a few
Also if you can’t fix it, DJI are very reasonable
Or use
