Gimbal juddering on DJI Mavic Air 2

I noticed when flying forward in head wind or whatever sometimes when you pan or tilt the gimbal down whilst flying ( not hovering ) sometimes the feed judders slightly is this normal as if the gimbal is slightly bouncing call it or being hit by the force / wind - it’s not lag threw connection just as mentioned
Thankyou

If you post an example video it would help others to see the exact issue, rather than venture into total speculation.

Does it happen when you’re just hovering still?

Or only when flying forwards?

I’ve had the same thing on my Mini when flying forward in the wind with the gimbal facing downwards the wind forces the gimbal beyond its limit and the motor kicks in to lift it back up a touch. if you manually lift the gimbal a touch so the wind can’t force it past its limit the issue goes away :+1:t2:

@PingSpike only when flying forward

Sorry I wasn’t recording - I just noticed when flying forward some times this happens but only when I engage using the jog wheel to tilt down maybe I need to adjust the pitch I think that’s the setting so it’s smoother maybe
Thanks

Yes not sure weather I’m being heavy handed or pitch needs to be smoother but this happens before the gimbal was tilted all the way down - only when toggling the wheel as it passes through the whole degrees it can manoeuvre which is 90 degree I think - I’ve just noticed in my settings allow upward gimbal rotation is off - which is usually turned on not sure what happend there lol - and maybe adjust pitch yaw smoothness as knowing my luck it’s man error :person_facepalming:t2: Also if I remember right I was in sport mode flat out but yea ……
Thankyou

pitch and yaw shouldn’t make a difference on the gimbal. you should be able to adjust the gimbal speed and smoothness settings in the fly app though.

but also if you’re attempting to move the gimbal while flying flat out in sport mode the wind would be hitting the gimbal and I’d say it would have the same effect where if the gimbal feels to much resistance in its movement the motor will just judder and stop to prevent motor burn out.

Yes that’s what I meant adjust in app if needed - and yes now it makes sense what you said tilting down in head wind motor kicks in to stop it from breaking its neck so to speak ! ( to much strain )
Thanks
