Glenbrittle - Added to Rivers and Canals in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

On the descent to the Fairy Pools is a short turn-off to the left, which affords a nice view over the Glen, the Cuillins and the small waterfalls of the stream.

Not as sheltered or shadowed as the Firy Pools, and not as impressive, but still peaceful and picturesque.

Parking is the same as for the Fairy Pools, and it can be captured on the way to or from the FP themselves…

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 25/06/2024. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Magical place. I flew there last August.

Ah, just realised, I was at the Fairy Pools not Glenbrittle. I’ll have to go there next time. Before you ask, at the Fairy Pools I was dodging rain and wind like everyone does and my photos are a pale imitation of the ones already posted - but I still had fun! / Ian

No worries Ian, our last trip to the Fairy Pools we left the car park in bright sunshine, arrived at the pools in grey, flew and then packed up when we saw the incoming clouds, and arrived back at the car as the heavens opened…

The weather in Scotland is always changeable…
