Yeah with the Avata, it’s a nifty little bugger. Second stab at it. I wanted it better than that, but had half a battery, tried getting a shifty on then got frustrated :triumph:. Haha​:rofl:

Is there an issue with the video, it seems out of focus and a little blurry

@Sparkyws, just me playing about in Resolve. I put a zoom blur on it. Tried to be ‘stylistic’ or what ever ya want to call it, the missus said it was OK, I think I should find another QC🤣

Try the “Centre Exclusion” to only impact toward the edges?

Or, better IMO, not using centre exclusion (which is only circular) and use more zoom blur with an inverted oval mask?

Nice one Dave​:+1: I know what you mean about a smaller amount, more towards the edges, which keeps the centre more in focus. I actually did it to a certain degree, doesn’t actually look too bad on 65" tele​:rofl:. I’ll take your advice and look into an inverted oval mask next time, looks to have a good effect going off your frames :+1:

If you add the zoom blur and mask to an adjustment clip (overlaying your video on the next track) you can also have fun with wobbling it about periodicaly - which could look good on your vid.

Of course - I’ve spent the rest of the afternoon trying to work out How I’d do this. #WatchThisSpace :rofl:

Will do👍. I like the adjustment clip, comes in handy for a few things.

I’ll keep the Predator theme in mind defo, don’t be surprised if something pops up in a future vid that I do😏. Just love Resolve, and trying out new stuff, mainly just at random, sometimes I pull it off, sometimes not🤣. Learning curve👍

I’d be contacting them with a couple of short clips, or a very low res video of the whole lot?, I’m pretty sure they’d dig out a few shillings for a well made video like that.

Cheers mate👍. Tbh, I know I could do it better, if it was, I might of got onto them🤔. The camera wasn’t really set right, the editing I just took 5 minutes doing and so on. Might do after my next run up there👍.
