Goathland & Grosmont | NYMR, Heartbeat Country & Moorland Walk and DJI drone flight

Join us for a circular walk through one of the most atmospheric parts of the North York Moors, starting at Beck Hole and heading up to Goathland, famous to many as Aidensfield from ITV’s Heartbeat.

The route takes in Goathland Station, part of the much-loved North Yorkshire Moors Railway and famous famous for appearing as Hogsmeade Station in the first Harry Potter film, before crossing open moorland, quiet country lanes and a small ford on the way towards Grosmont. Along the way there are steam and diesel railway views, classic moorland scenery, Heartbeat memories, and even an unexpected snake basking in the sunshine!

I also managed a drone flight over Grosmont and Beck Hole, giving a different view of this historic railway village and the surrounding North York Moors landscape.
