Going away for 2 weeks without the drones, Battery left in drone?

I have a couple of questions if these have been asked before i apologise in advance haha…

I have drained all my mini 4 pro and air 3s batteries to 60%, This is the main question Is it safe to leave one of the batteries inside the drone or should i remove it?

Also the case i have for my air3s only allows the 3 unused batteries to be stored inside the charging hub is this safe or should i remove them? The mini 4 pro are in storage compartments in the case so them ones aren’t in the charging hub.

Thank you in advance.

They are intelligent batteries so should be fine - I have left mine in all my drones for way long without issues

If you recall, the drones are shipped with batteries fitted, and they may have been in that state for many months before you purchased them. They’ll be absolutely fine :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you

Thank you that is so true I never thought of it like that :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t be too complacent. I had 6 perfectly good batteries 6 mths ago. On deciding to check them, found 3 were lifeless.
Used the internet to research recovery but to no avail so three of them are now dead. Zino mini Pro. Despite the generally low opinion of these drones, mine have been absolutely perfect until the batteries went dead.
I now check the charge state about every month during the winter ,and recharge if necessary.

And that’s where DJI are a different beast

Absolutely, the tech that’s in dji batteries set them apart from the competitors.
