Just want everyone to know about the disgraceful treatment from GoPro regarding the drone won’t pair with the controller. This is a well advertised fault worldwide. With thousands of Karma owners unable to fly their drones. It’s as if GoPro have placed something in the software coding to prevent the drones pairing after the “end of life” date.
I contacted GoPro about this yesterday and was basically told the drone is no longer supported by GoPro. I asked why is my Hero 5 camera is still supported and that’s a year older than the drone. He just kept saying it’s reached its end of life and no longer supported but sent a link to a third party who can sort out the problem. It would cost me more in postage and repair fees than the drone is worth. Bit late now but I will never buy another GoPro product. As the repair shop is located in Texas USA.

I had very few problems with mine up until the pairing issue. I know a lot of fliers did have issues, I must of got a good one? Found it a little too bulky to take everywhere I wanted to take it. Going to look for a DJI when Black Friday is on.
Thanks for the reply, I had seen this video previously. I don’t feel confident in stripping the drone down and messing with electronic components. I will keep it for a few months longer hoping that someone discovers a non intrusive fix. Tried the fix where you try to pair until it auto powers off, but mine won’t even auto shutdown. It just keeps trying to pair until the battery goes flat. That’s one of the symptoms of this fault, drone doesn’t power off using power bottom. It’s a real shame, as up to now I’d had a great flying experience. Will be looking for a Dji on Black Friday
I remember john @Hotrodspike going to give it to me for free as he was having a clear out and tried to pair it without luck so I think it went to the dump.
