Gordale Scar, Malham - Added to Iconic Landscapes and Ancient Sites in Yorkshire and the Humber

I’m more of a photographer than videographer, I generally prefer shorts for YouTube :expressionless_face:

In a straight line it’s just over 3.5 miles from the house to Gordale Scar but a 9 mile drive and mostly narrow lanes, surprising how many idiots you encounter who drive as though they aren’t expecting to meet someone coming in the opposite direction.

@markas You did better than I did, Mark. It was pretty windy when I went, and although I cannot recall having an issue with the signal, when I got close to the top of the cliff edges it started to become difficult to manage; and as I had a mini 2 with no obstacle avoidance at the time, I chickened out. Bit older, wiser and braver (:thinking:stupid) now so may go back myself to have another stab at it! I did want to climb up the scar, so as long as it’s not in spate like it was last time, so I might do that too!

As we were leaving there was a group of people clambering down the waterfall, haven’t a clue if they made it but it isn’t something i would attempt :scream:

@markas Its a grade 1 scramble up the scar, Mark, so not too difficult up the left hand side.

It is a recognised path, been up that a few times, also climbed at Gordale, the wall to the right of the waterfall in your video.
