Great Haseley Windmill - Added to Wind Farms in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission obtained.

A tower mill with a fantail and four common sails. One of the largest stone-built tower mills, it is thought to have been built in 1760 and came to the end of its working life in the early 1900s. Fully restored to working order in 2013 after a comprehensive programme of repairs.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 18/11/2018. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

May I ask how you got the owner permission?

As ever, Google knows all. Contact details, and some familiar-looking copy, here.

Great location with footpath

I want to fly here, but there are no parking or take off and landing markers. Can anyone that has flown here or knows the area add some markers to the map please?

Hi @Phoenix_JSJ, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

I’ve flown here too @DronePix
