I loved watching it, Leylo!

The Norse word ‘Orme’, as you say means ‘sea monster’ but is sometimes translated as ‘dragon’. It is the origin of our word ‘worm’, which still means dragon in some folk tales and legends. Down at my end of Wales, we have ‘Worm’s Head’, near Rhossili, Gower, and you can see how it got it’s name!

The lighthouse is a hotel, great place to stay.

The Little Orme looks like an Elephant kneeling in the sea. (I spent 11 years at boarding school in Llandudno.)

Many thanks for all the the good words. Thought I’d put it up again, just for the sake of it really. Went back there a couple of weeks ago, did the usual things we’ve done the previous 100 times, cable car, happy valley, toboggan etc. Still love it😁
