Great Witchingham Hall (Bernard Matthews) - Added to Historic Buildings in East of England

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Originally built in the 16th or 17th century, Great Witchingham Hall was bought for £3,000 in 1955 by Bernard Matthews as the headquarters for his turkey business. Matthews and his wife occupied just two rooms of the property, with the remaining rooms being used for the hatching, rearing and eventual slaughter of turkeys. The building is still used by Bernard Matthews Ltd as offices.

I was able to park outside the main gate as this had temporary fencing across it which seemed to indicate it wasn’t in use. This may change in future though.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 29/01/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Just saying but because of the animal rights lot you might find problems here with their security
