Yes, this post is about mobile phones, but they’ve been the driving force behind small batteries for years.
So this “solid state” battery tech would be great news for us! ( … and really long Litchi Missions!

Good news indeed. Especially if it makes better use of Lithium, which evidently is going to be in short supply.

Would love to be able to fly longer.
Smaller/lighter battery for the same time would be good, too.
This tech should enable faster charging, too.
