I’ve flown from Hurst Spit to Calshot along the coastal forest areas which as the crow flys is about 12 miles of non problematic TOAL whatsoever.
The main issue is the inner forest areas itself and personally I wouldn’t want to fly around it anyway.

I just spotted that sentence. They do not control the airspace and cannot enforce any of their perceived rules within it.
Welcome @Maverick34 from dreary drippy Poole!
Don’t be devastated mate, you just need to be clued up on what you can and can’t do and sometimes it’s just a case of taking off from somewhere close as the air isn’t owned by anyone, even the NT- just need to use common sense.
We’re spoilt for places to fly and photograph/video locally- hit me up if you’re ever unsure
What are you flying?
