Groomsport is a picturesque coastal village near the town of Bangor in Co. Down. Plenty of free parking is available on the main street or at The Boathouse on the harbour. Has good local facilities (Pubs, cafes, shops, toilets etc.). Worth visiting for coastal walks in the direction of Bangor via Ballymacormick Point or in the direction of Donaghadee via Orlock Point.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 21/09/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
