After playing around with gyroflow, I’ve been wondering what other users settings are.
I’m using pretty much stock settings, apart from the imu orientation (YxZ) and lens profile. I use a walksnail profile -
I’m losing resolution in my output video, which is understandable due to the way it works. Just wondering if there is a way to optimise it.
Also, do more sync points really help? What are your filter settings, zoom and smoothness too?
I thought your comparison video you posted was really good Karl. Have to say I didn’t really think that stabilised fpv video would be of much benefit but it really does make a difference looking at Yours and Richards videos
Based upon @notveryprettyboy videos, I wanted to see what was possible with WS and gyroflow and playing around with setting.
Some options for Gyroflow on a real video (alot of youtube stabilised doe snot pass the sniff test)
0 - Raw video
1 - Vanilla smoothing
2 - Key framing out parts to make a dive not smooth and landing more authentic. With lots of sync points (30 and search 10 s for sync point)
3 - Switching zoom off (Repeat edge pixels) (Keeps resolution up)
IMHO - I think gyroflow is similar output to runcam thumb. With WS the view whilst flying is obviously excellent.
