Harborough Rocks - Added to FPV in East Midlands

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Several of us have flown here. I'm surprised it hasn't been added previously.

Nice, open area for FPV cruising, with some interesting features, both natural and man-made, if you want to do a bit of proximity flying.
Not usually very busy, despite being right next to the Tissington Trail and popular with rock climbers - just keep away from them. Extensive views across the Dales from the trig point at the top of the hill. It can get windy.

Parking at ///submerge.financial.trespass (what3words) and along the road.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 22/04/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Got a video somewhere of my bruv and me climbing there. Got some interesting single pitches. Nice place. Walked the Tissington Trail too for a 17 mile charity event for the fight against heart disease. Snowed all the way around, never been so cold!

I want to fly here @Earwig, I’ve added it to the list of places I want to fly

Considering organising a short notice meet for Bank Holiday Sunday
