Hawkesbury Golf Course

Hi all. I am probably taking my lad to Hawkesbury Golf Course on Saturday morning so he can learn fpv. We will probably be there at about 09:30 weather permitting. We have to leave at 11:30 for rugby training.
At the moment, it will be windy, if any of you DJI guys want to have a pop at a speed record!
Everyone and anyone welcome.

Sorry dude. Not planning on getting up that early this weekend

Sorry Karl
We are taking youngest daughter to airport to start her backpacking adventure on Saturday morning

Wish her good luck!

@bunney_david your welcome to come. Might be a bit windy for a mavic mini though. Not sure.

Hi there.
Actually not around this weekend either truth be told.
If I was I could bring the mini. Would hold up great 2m high

Hi Guys,
What frequencies do you guys usually fly on, analogue and the expensive stuff.
I’m setting up a 1G2 to 5G8 link/repeater and want to stay clear of you all, although it’ll only be running at 25mW

Cheers
Steve

We all live in the 5.8 band

What ever frequency is free on the imd6

Ar come on guys… you know what I mean
What band/channel is your first choice, I’ve always gone R8 and that’s not usually caused anybody problems.
Or are you saying each place/day/group of flyers means you are forever changing

Cheers
Steve

I used to go R1. But the Bobbins uses it now. I think I may do R2. Less chance of IMD.
Yes. I’m now an R2 guy
