Hello... again!

I was here a couple of years ago, but a battle with leukemia meant that I abandoned flying for a long time. But now (after a bunch of chemo and steroids) I’m back, keen to start flying again. This is such a cool club and I look forward to chatting/flying/posting as soon as the lockdown ends.

Nice to see you back David from one of the Old Farts!.
Glad you are doing well after a couple of what would have been tough years!.

Cheers, Rich.
Older, not necessarily wiser, and definitely fatter - but it’s good to be back. Got serious kit envy - still only got Mavic Pro 1 - but no dosh yet to splurge on a newer one!

Welcome back.

Hi Dave.

I wasn’t here when you were here last.
Great news on the remission.
I’m getting there. I have CML so like you I’m in complete lockdown
Don’t know what it was like then but I must say
“Why did you bother coming back to this group? We’re all crackers”

Lol

On a serious note, (not that I am very serious at the best of times🤔)
Take care pal
If you ever need a chat just DM me. Sure we most probably have loads in common.
Well done and stay safe :facepunch:

I do if I close my eyes.
They don’t let me out of here very much. I haven’t been past the door since the 17th of March. It’s nice and cosy though. They have even insulated the walls for me. Hmmmm nice and soft. I’m not a right fan of the coat they put me into though. It’s a bit tight and my arms get numb pretty quickly. The belt, can’t understand why they go through my legs instead of round my waist. They did say it was because I have started to put a bit on around the girth. But I don’t believe them as I can still see my big toes when I stand up and look down. It’s nice a quiet though. On another note there are 2741 holes or dimples in the walls. Not sure what they are for. I have a nice window but I can’t open it because of this bloody coat..
