Hi all, Dave here from Horton Heath, nr Eastleigh / WInchester / Southampton.

Just got my first drone, a Mavic Mini (1) and really enjoying it so far. Only ventured out a couple of times, first vid linked below!

As well as learning to fly the drone, I need to learn video editing and the right footage to capture.

Any like minded people nearby?

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

That’s another thing I want to try and have emailed out about to some local courses. An overview of the course, players in play if possible. Happy to offer footage for their own use. I’ll keep you up to date

Nice shots of Netley Abbey
Bought a drone a few days ago (Holystone 440) and not out the box yet!
Live in Bishopstoke.
We could meet up as soon as I have read the instructions.

Instructions? What are those? Watch a YouTube video or two, get it up in the air :slight_smile:
The Mavic Mini is my first drone, and loving it so far. There’s a few locations I’d like to visit so yeah we’ll get together at some point!
