Help with LED wiring - don't want to fry my eyebrows off!

So I’ve picked up some 24v COB LED strips that I want to wire into a quad. I’m going to wire into the battery voltage on the ESC, just wondering what’s the best and safest way to do it? See rough examples below that I think are feasible.

Single spare from vBat into a BEC/distribution board, then spare from BEC into individual strips:

Or…
Spare from vBat spliced into two channels and daisy chain:

Also how crazy can I really go with the daisy chaining? The strips spec around 5W/m. Guessing depends on how many Amps the strips are pulling?

Thanks for any help! :slightly_smiling_face:

Either will work depends on how neat you can get it.

Question is does the whole of the northwest need lighting up everytime you fly.:rofl::rofl::rofl:
