Hi,
Newbie here and want to spend my Christmas day on Morfa Beach in Conwy with my Neo & Air3S. I am trying to work out the can I/can’t I in this location. It is on the beach in front of Aberconwy Carvan Park. The bit I am struggling with the most is the SSSI side of things.
If anyone could take a look and give me pointers that would be great. A kind of process overview kinda of thing that I can use as an approach for future planned flights.
If you click on the SSSI in Drone Scene you’ll see some details along with a link to “find out more”.
That link will tell you why it’s an SSSI.
Have a read of that extra detail, it might be registered for something that your drone won’t affect.
Thanks I had checked on DRoneScene and seen that it was an SSSI, not sure what a Biological/M is…. It also says on the yellow zone about RAF training… as its yellow that is just something I have to be aware of? I have seen jets fly over fairly low but by eye you can’t gauge distance. I am huessing they appear “low” but in real terms they are probably well above my ceiling limit. I was also thinking about the location of the Caravan park if I fly the Air3S today, is that too close, they may be people on the beach. It would only be the odd person walking their dog and a lunatic flying a drone instead of eating Christmas dinner…
