Enjoyed a short flight from the beach at Hengistbury Head, Dorset today. The sun was shining and it was surprisingly warm; a really pleasant respite from the cold and wet.
I see an old thread here saying that drone flights were banned by the local council through byelaws, including a link to the relevant byelaws on their website. The local council has since changed - several old authorities merging into a single ‘Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole’ (BCP) council. The relevant page on their website no longer claims any sort of byelaw, just referring to CAA for rules. I’m not sure that the change in council has helped the change, but at least the position is now clearer.
