Not at all, sorry, didnt mean to hijack your intro thread, but it would be good to organise a fly together, and if we have to fetch you then we will - only issue is time, the nights are drawing in fast now, so if we have to come and pickyou up then the meet needs to be local to you otherwise it will be dark by the time we get back…

Happy to meet up Sunday morning but the weather is looking awful, could do this evening but not sure where. The field we use is waterlogged at the moment.
Looks like a great first flight, I can only hope my first flight goes as well.

As to a Manchester Meet up, apologies for the late response, we were busy today with non-drone related stuff… We are both free most weekends, tomorrow wouldbe great, BUT the weather looks bad until 4pm, and we have friend sover tomorrow afternoon / tea time, so seems like its out atm…
Thursday evening is a possible for me and hubby, but Met says 50% chance of rain from 5pm until 7pm, and sunset is at 1855, so perhaps not the best opportunity…
Satuurday next weekend is Foley’s Meet in Brum, which we are going to go to, and Sunday next weekend - 1st October - has a 40% chance of rain until 1000am, and then it drops to 15%, so perhaps Sunday 1st at 1000am… The previous day looks dry, so perhaps the disused golf course in Wigan as a venue, or the side of the ship canal in Lymm as suggested by Wayne?? Unless anyone has a better location that is easily accessible for folks locally?

I could do Sunday 1st as am back from holidays by then.
Am easy going on location but would plump for the canal at Lymm - particularly if there’s any ship movement.
