That’s right —
We’ve extended our £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance to cover both recreational and commercial use— a significant new benefit for our Gold Members.
That £5,000,000 of cover now applies whether you’re flying for fun, helping a neighbour with a roof survey, doing a photoshoot for an estate agent, selling aerial photos online, or turning your drone hobby into a side hustle with some paid gigs.
Our commercial and business use insurance is EC Regulation 785/2004 compliant and insures you for up to £15,000 annual turnover from drone-related work.
No more looking for loopholes or second-guessing whether a flight is classed as recreational or commercial — you’re protected either way.
Our Gold Members will be equally as pleased to hear that our new insurance is provided with no increase in your club annual membership fee whatsoever — you can continue to enjoy all the benefits of the club for just £25 per year
