Horkstow Bridge - Added to Bridges in Yorkshire and the Humber

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Horkstow Bridge. I took this a while ago now I spotted it as I was visiting the area and stood out due to it being a suspension bridge. Was built in 1836 and is a grade 2 listed building. There are small areas at either side of the bridge where you can TOAL also park if in a car. You can even cross it in your car but I didn’t fancy it, all them wooden beams

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 22/03/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

I want to fly here @Woody305, have you got any other tips or advice?

The road leading up to it is single track so just caution really. It wasn’t very busy I think I was there about 40 mins and 1 car went over it. Other than that just have fun it is a lovely looking Bridge.

Nice shot. River looks a lot clearer than when I was there can’t recall if tide was coming in but it definitely looked a lot muddier lol

I’ve just added a new Parking marker to this location @Woody305 :slightly_smiling_face:
