How do I create a post in a thread?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I can’t find the answer. I can see how to create a new topic in some categories but I can’t seem to find how to create a post in a thread of a category e.g. the-great-big-non-drone-related-for-sale-thread in Droning on. I do have trust level 2 so that is not the issue. Thanks

Reply to a thread / original poster - the blue “Reply” button.

Reply to a specific post - the grey “Reply” button.

Even if it is a new item for sale? If I reply to the original poster doesn’t it get lost up the top of the thread? Do I just reply to the last one?

Replying to the OP/thread will add a new post at the bottom.

The only difference is that replying to a specific post in a thread means that the author of that post also gets notified.
