Hang on… the article’s 88.7% drop-out rate is based on the number of registrations from 2019 that weren’t renewed in 2024.
Didn’t the CAA change the format of the Flyer and Operator IDs in 2020 and reregister us to get everybody on to the new format? Can’t recall if that was voluntary or compulsory, but I seem to remember they waived all fees in 2020 because of Covid.
I certainly registered on ‘registration day’ back in 2019, but my 5-year Flyer ID doesn’t expire until later this month.
