How to maintain 100% VLOS no matter how far you fly!

Not sure if I’d give it a go! Would you? :thinking:

may be a bit over 25kg though, not sure I’d try it in full acro mode though at a bando

In a heartbeat! I would love to have a go in one of these!

I should add a small disclaimer - the seating area would need to be significantly bigger to accomodate my frame… :rofl:

Thats the T50+ then. :grin::rofl:

Crikey, if you crashed that whilst flying, I reckon you’d lose more than just the drone :joy::joy::joy::joy:

There’s a really easy ( but very boring way ) to maintain vlos and know the orientation of your drone at all times. Send it up to say 100m. Then fly forward from your position ( only forward). When you can hardly see it in the distance, fly backwards ( only backwards) Hey presto, you’ve just flown let’s say 300m away, you can only just see your drone, but know the orientation at all times. :wink::wink::wink:

Absolutely John, the problem for me lies where everybody else is doing the same from all points on the compass. :wink::face_with_spiral_eyes::rofl::rofl:

I get my missus to spot, she misses absolutely nothing! :rofl::rofl:

Colin, nothing, but nothing gets past my missus. Canna even take the dog out for a walk, but she guesses I’m going to the pub :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

@JockyB Just tell her to get her coat John as your going to leave for the pub and if she says “are you treating me to a drink”, say “nah, I’m turning the heating off!” :scream: I’d bring you some grapes to the hospital but it’s hard to eat them with your jaws wired. :rofl::rofl: Only joking of course… never have the heating on in our house. :smirk:

Nice rig, but there’s something missing . . . oh yes, the box of pizzas behind the pilot.

[Oh they’re coming, believe me, they are coming !]

Ahh same here, not because we don’t feel the cold though, Just can’t afford it :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Personally I can’t see regular deliveries being undertaken by drones, not with present technology. :wink::wink:

@JockyB isn’t it already happening John? Not on the scale as those in the US though where Walmart have been delivering for a while apparently. :scream:

Colin, yes I can see small scale local deliveries becoming more “ commonplace” but you’ve seen the plans for a 200mile long corridor in southern England, where the government believe large scale deliveries by drone could take place between cities. Now that, I don’t believe that such deliveries by automated drones flying BVLOS will ever happen.
