Any comments from the drone police ? I know that plod has been investigating a few this year

Not as yet. But time will tell
Its huge to be honest. And yes every year in October. Has a Facebook page. Its running from the 4th-12th October this year .

Comes up the week after your own Goose Fair
It will be interesting to see whether the police do go for prosecutions, particularly where pilots have posted the evidence against themselves online.
Could give an insight into their enforcement approach to drone offences.
