Hey, i live near Marham - have you ever asked for permission to fly within the FRZ from RAF Marham at all? I want to fly over some countryside but it’s within the FRZ!

Amazing shots. I was up there a couple of weeks ago, only to realise afterwards permission is needed from the National Trust to fly a drone over there. I want to go back there again in a few weeks and wondered if anyone managed to get permission? Or do you just turn up and fly?

With regards your question about the National Trust, you will need permission to take off from their site, but, there are nearby sites that are not owned by them as shown on this screenshot.

The ones from Hunstanton, are not part of the. Arjona, Trust.

I’ve never asked, purely because it has been know for drones to be shot down around Marham. There was a drone flying overhead a few weeks back but whether they had permission I’m unsure. They are quite reasonable there. It certainly approach them if you wanted… just make sure it’s not near the houses… it could get shot!
