Anyone fancy visiting this in the next few weeks?
If you don’t know, it was Alfred Nobels Explosive factory on the Ayrshire coast.
It’s on the ardeer peninsula just outside Irvine.
Massive site with bunkers magazines and buildings to explore.
There’s talk of this being redeveloped so times running out if you’ve not already done it.
Gauging interest and then will set a date.
There is a lot of walking on this one.

There’s a few within 15 minutes drive.
Long way up for you though. Would need to turn it into a weekender with a bevy in Glasgow.

Was thinking a weekend before end of September.
Just putting feelers out to see who would be interested and can sort a day out.
We would be going in from Kilwinning side near Todd Hill country centre and staying away from Chemring.
There’s an old service bridge that crosses the river onto peninsula.
