Skittles says if you are struggling for gates etc to use tape in a doorway :+1:

I have gates. A little smaller than the max. at 26". Made from the de facto Flo-plast overflow pipe and 3D-printed connectors.

Spent 4 packs Friday evening and only managed to go forwards then backwards through the gate twice before I lost the VTX antenna in the grass.

My whoop handles like an oil tanker. I don’t know if it’s even capable of power-looping or Matty-flipping within the height available. Or it might be a skills issue.

Spent yesterday morning replacing the antenna (with added hot glue this time), fiddling with rates, and trying a RaceGOW track in Velocidrone. The sim was way easier.

I may have to dig the analog whoop out - the Walksnail one is a chonker.

This morning, the wind seems to have picked up again.

I am not hopeful for this week.

Cracked frame in one place and stress marks now appearing  tape and superglue on standby
I am struggling with powerloop and matty in such a tight area/space I only just started trying them in a big space/gap with loads of room so this little ladder space is killing my soul
I am going to get some days in on the micro drone sim and slow down a bit and then get back on it

We’re all through the first week, I see.

Just tried the analog in the house. That’s not happening!

I’ve just killed a camera (hopefully wire) and lost a motor wire while trying the limbo challanges in a super tight space, this is gonna be tight…

Looks like i killed the camera module itself so gonna have to complete this challange with the race whoop and pray i dont destroy that too before all my spares arrive, technically got the powerloop in that clip so just need the matty to tack on to the footage

I’m not sure I can muster the will to stick at this one. I already made my fail video, which was a lot of fun - only needed about 15% of my recorded footage.

It’s back to blowing a gale around here and I just don’t have room indoors, even in the biggest space I could muster.

I am curious though, I know they’re a personal thing, but what rates are you guys running?

I’ve taken the expo off my throttle, which seems to have helped, and it doesn’t seem to make a difference whether I limit it or not - just moves the balance point, which changes anyway as the battery runs out. So I’m particularly interested in Roll/Pitch/Yaw and whether you use any expo on those.

At the end of the day, I should probably just keep trying stuff until I find what works.

Im using actual 75 ,800 ,0.3 on all but my rates are still a work in progress im playing with expo still .
0 throttle expo 65mm.
Just fixed the air65 at least but my self builds cam is doa so got no choice to get that challange down with the air which is more set up for race, hopefully it holds up.
Keep at it @Earwig its all good practice you can do it :flexed_biceps:
