The transition to the dark side is complete ?
Kinda of highlights. Not many tricks.
Or the full 14 mins of zipping around.

I do like seeing new upcoming pilots. Always way better than me when I first started. (My age I think. And I’m kak.)
This is a top tip of the day… I almost always turn left when flying. And its ingrained in my behaviour. I notice you are doing the same. You’ll be way better off in the long run being ambidirectional? If that is a word? Ah you know what I mean
Top flight man
Yeah really impressed after so little stick time. Well done
Agree with Karl… I’m a right turner! Don’t get into our bad habbits early on!
Thanks, I had not noticed, looked at the flights again - yep left-turner. Another excuse to get out and practice.
The tips here really help a new pilot. Brought 4 more batteries today…
Apparently you loaded so was told… I like min 4 of each type. Hate waiting for charging in field.
Its bought. Not brought. My misses always says brought. You brought it if you bring it from the shop. But you went to buy it so you bought it.
Cheers
Dyslexic - its always a shocker if I get close to making any sense when I type.
Why did the dyslexic wizard get kicked out of school?
He couldn’t spell.
So is my misses
I took 9 packs out today (3x 3S and 6x 2S). Wish i’d took double that. Maybe tomorrow.
To be honest, I only used three batteries - I was a bit mentally tired (and it was early) after three flights. The adrenaline and the concentration was massive.
I did skip back to the car with a smile.
It gets less stressful with practice
Like Martin said, the more you fly, the easier it gets. For me the most stressful flights are at new sites. As much as people are against it, I fly an angle pack first to get a lay of the land, work out any dodgy spots for video/rx and maybe any lines I want to fly. Then i fly acro beyond that.
But once you’ve done that the first time, its plain sailing beyond that.
Im not against angle, there is one use case been very helpful recently… And useful post crash to just hover and check it without goggles on!
Im against wasting any time in a sim with it! Angle is simple as once you get acro down… Dont waste SIM time on it
Yeah I agree in Sim, it’s pointless. Once you fly acro, going back to angle in sim isn’t relevant any more.
