At the moment i fly with the A40 phone im finding it to small, Can anyone tell me is the ipad 10.2 2021 anygood ive never had Apple devices before, Im on verge of buying. Thankyou in advance.
Very capable, but very large
Ram and nits are what I look for, I’m blind as a bar and thought big iPad would do but it still bad to watch in sunlight I went for a dedicated Samsung note 8 bright as hell and realise big does not always mean better.

I agree with the you phone is 410 nits the iPad 10.2 is 500 nits.
How much will the iPad cost?
I’m using IPad Air 2 & iPad 5th gen. Both second hand, both are bright enough for day light use. Only issue is having to use a larger tablet holder on the mini 2 remote as both are 9.7

Thanks no problem i use to use my galaxy s3 tab but for some unknown reason will not load only gets to 46% loading then nothing so new tab this weekend hopefully ipad 10.2 will be ok,
Sorry @Dren your right apple probably is got much better, I should not be so anti-apple but I hate devices that try to control everything, hearing apple strategies yesterday in making devices useless is proof why so many of my apple products which i paid a fortune for sitting in a cupboard as apple stopped supporting them 
@OttoCarius it really depends on what you want with the setup, like I said I had a dedicated device to go with my drone and it was used soley for the drone to run DJI fly and apps relating to flying that day and everything else was deleted or forced stop.
If this is your intentions then the best is go for a cheap tablet that supports dji fly from the link I gave earlier, if your intended everyday use then maybe a more expensive apple 
or android 
With the devices you do have check it supports 64-bit and minimum 2gb ram but preferably more. I do go on about Nits mean alot but there is false advertising on this and I know I say mine is 1200 and a apple is 500 but devices only be at its brightest if you can set it up right and not allow it to automatically dim down by default.
Can never forget DJI Crystal sky which at today’s price is something I would consider myself now I have more toys to play with.

I used my iPad Pro 11’’ last night for the first time as was using my iPhone and have to say it the dogs xxxxxxxx … much better, can’t believe I didn’t try it before… A proper holder with lanyard is essential as it’s heavier but so worth it …

I fully understand your thoughts of Apple, but i bought just wifi units and removed anything i didn’t need so the units both have go4 & fly apps installed. They’re not 100% perfect n at distances sometimes lag. But ive been using apple since 2014 and satisfied with what they give. Money was an issue at start so buying brand new ipads wasn’t feasible
