Hi everyone,

Please forgive repetition but I can’t find any relevance of this on here.

I have an iPhone 7 and a mavic2 Pro. Yes, both are old I know. But, my iPhone is on its way out and therefore was going to buy the iPhone 14 Pro or Max. Could someone answer these questions please.

  1. Will the iPhone 14 Max fit into the smart controller size and connection. and,
  2. Will the DJI Go 4 app still work on the iPhone 14 Pro/Max.

Yes, the regular one

DJI has the maximum supported length for a mobile device at 160mm, thickness 8.5mm (Mavic 2 - Product Information - DJI)

The iPhone 14 Pro is fine, but the Pro Max looks to be too long… but only by 0.7mm.

Might be worth a punt. Or take your controller in to an Apple Store (or Currys) and see if you can test it.

I was thinking that myself. I suppose I could take the controller into the phone shop and see.
Just at my age with eyesight deterioration, size matters lol.

I’ve a MP2 with standard controller & use an iPhone XS Max with the OLED display & was a great combination. When I changed to an iPhone 13max, it wouldn’t fit into the controller grips due to the square profile of the case even though they’re virtually identical in dimensions so I have to use a holder with my 13. Since had the XS fixed & use it for the MP2 only.
You’ll have the same issue with the 14 so will need a holder & short cable.

The pro max fits fine and Dji go 4 works fine on it too
