Is it possible to sort the topics in date order, latest first? Most forums allow this but I can’t see it here, or do I need the V2 Googles to see it?
Not sure what you’re viewing on, but for mobile (Safari for iPhone) there is a drop-down on the homescreen which you can change from “Categories” to “Latest” which will then display topics in order of when they were updated.
The PC version. “Latest” on this displays threads that are new, but the actual thread is still listed oldest post first with no Sort facility.
So this thread has my original post first, then rustybarnet’s reply, then my replies. Not sure why the topic is now “solved”.
@PjL are you viewing https://greyarro.ws/latest ?
Or do you wish to view this actual topic, but with all the replies listed in reverse order?
Yes, same problem. But how did this thread get “solved”? Did I accidentally click on something?
Because everyone has misunderstood your question I think
OK, I must have accidentally clicked the solved button, I can unselect it. So if you read this thread, my original question is first, then all the replies. However, for a topic that has been running your years, like “Pictures”, I would prefer to start with the latest ones and work my way back to the earliest. Hope that helps with what I meant in the original question.
Then you need to scroll to the last thread and work your way up
You can use the scroll tool
On a phone it’s
You can also use the Home and End button on a PC
But if you do that you are reading the thread backwards and it probably won’t make sense, like this one for Example
As @SparkyFPV suggests, it’s not possible to re-order the replies in a topic.
From the Discourse developers (way back in 2017):
And as @SparkyFPV rightly suggests:
OK, it can’t be done. Thanks.
