Is remote ID coming to the dji fpv racer?
Not mine it won’t be.

Given the state of things state side, probably in the next few years. I wonder if they will go as far as remote kill switch as that seems to be getting pushed out as well. It seems to be heading that way over there. It’s turning into a bit of a police state for Americans that fly.
If you fly sub 250g though you will probably be fine.
According to ARPAS-UK, The UK Drone Association:
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) will impose remote ID requirements in July 2020.

DJI have already rolled out an update for the Avata that now requires the user to connect their phone to their goggles to activate Remote ID. If your phone isn’t connected the Avata will not fly. This is so it conforms to the FAA Remote ID requirement that come into force on the 16th of this month. This is for all “off the shelf” drones that have this capability. Those that are not currently capable have until September 2023 to be made compliant by the user by adding a 3rd party module.
