Hi everyone, I recently got my DJI 5 Pro. I’ll be watching these videos on the problems with the DJI Pro 5 propellers. Has anybody else had any problems with your propellers. Some of these videos make me laugh. For instance, there is one video trying to explain how fragile they are. So he tried to break one or make it clack well, I’ll never seen such a debacle in all my life. He did not succeed but what he did say is that part the leg at the top end by the body has cracked, not the propellers. And then he started a folder up like a monkey. I have seen many videos of them. Just folding the drone up like a ragdoll. It’s enough to give you the heebie-jeebies. Flying your drone in the first place. There’s a lot of experience droners here. Men or women. I expect they’re just having a bad day with their drone. I think my probably they forget it’s not a Tonka toy. They are quite robust to a point… So any sensible replies and information would be nice and what to look for if you have had any problems with your propellers. Are the the the propellers from other makes any good. Or is it best to stick with DJI originals .
Never had any issues with the props on any of my DJI drones. Apart from DJI’s own replacements the only other ones I would use are the Master Airscrew ones.

Hi, where did you get these? DJI v. Propellers I looked on Amazon. They do propellers but not. For the DJI mini 5 Pro. Or do I need to look on there web page? That’s an idea
Follow up. Just looked on their web page. They do all. Bar except mini 5 Pro. Would you recommend any other maker out of interest
Master Airscrew don’t make propellers for the Mini 5 Pro. The American government dislike of DJI means that there is not a big enough demand for replacement propellers for newer DJI drones.
The best you can do is to treat the mini 5 propellers carefully and certainly examine them closely after ANY incident where the motors have been stalled by a blade strike, paying particular attention to the area around the retaining pins. Those pins are pushed in from the bottom. There’s nothing holding them in at the top so if a gap develops between the blade and the hub I’d be discarding that blade pair.

Do you have the DJI Store app? Props are on there for £9 (presumably the same as the Amazon ones listed above). Looks like shipping is free too.

That is the video I’ve been talking about. It shows you how strong these props are. You didn’t hold back, did he. The only thing I can think of is that they crashed it or they hit a branch in flight. If there is a fault. DGI are keeping it to themselves but that’s another story

Are they really “falling out of the sky”?
According to the latest “What Do You Fly” poll one in five of us are flying a Mini 5 Pro… not seen anybody post that this has happened to them. 
I’d try not to overthink it to much, those kinda props from DJI are relatively safe & hold up pretty well as far as I know, that said if ever there was a problem ( hopefully not ) Airdata would show an error in flight & I’m pretty sure they’d ( DJI ) will sort it out for you, personally id stick with the OG DJI props

Hi, yes I have seen this video before. But he did admit that he did crash it. But only a week. Over a week ago I was landing my DJI 5 on my landing pad. I misjudged it a bit. It landed on the pad but one pop hit a blade of grass. Immediately on the hand control it says damage propeller check it in big red warning sign. So I checked best I could and then we started. There’s no problems. So getting back to the video. If he had crashed it, he would have seen that red warning sign saying that one of his propellers is being damaged maybe. He admitted that you flew it damaged but didn’t replace it . It would have signified on the hand unit that prop has been damaged that would have come up on his hand unit so he ignored that. I was landing on a pad. And I only hit a blade of grass and the red sign come up. Check propellers for damage. So I do not know whatever warning signs there are when you are flying up in the air about to the state of your propellers telling you vibration or whatever but left. It definitely told me to look at my propellers.. evening daylight looking at your propellers it is difficult so I’ve got a small torch and I just shine it on the area which is normally the problem causing attribute of these propellers to fail. But of course if it’s a micro fracture. It’s so small you won’t be able to say it anyway. Thank you kindly for sharing this video

I think it is misuse of the drone. Treating it roughly. Not taking their time either. Unfolding it or refolding it.. that’s the only thing I can think about that it operator error. 
Hand catch your drone, you’ll never have that problem.
