I didn’t know this was an issue, have you more details?

Also if you have a Mini 4 Pro why not test it :thinking:

I don’t know because I haven’t had a problem anyway. My videos have written to the SD card without a problem since I had my Mini 4 Pro. Therefore, it might be a problem with your card/settings/unit but I don’t think it’s the firmware per se.

From what I have read it is a problem with the card in the RC2 not the M4P.

Hi : I need some help on this

Am lucky enough to have mini 3 pro and the mini 4 pro
When taking photos / videos onto my mini 3 pro I always take the sd card out place on a card reader / Adapter enter the photos / videos on my iPhone and iPad … now on the Mavic Mini 4 pro I do exactly same … BUT .notice No input of photos / videos on the SD card. ??? NOTHING? Using the DJI RC on the mini 3 and the DJI RC 2 on the mini 4 … I even purchase a new scan disk mico SD card still no photos / videos on there per Mini pro 4 Photos/ videos are on the RC and RC 2 so no problem download via DJI fly App

So … why it not on my SD card ?? I presume must do on the settings ? Have check on controller that in SD storage … any help here be much appreciated. Thank you. Steve.

Have you checked to see if your saving to the sd card ? Have you checked to see if it’s saved to the drone ?
I would check this first if you haven’t already ….

Hi

Yes is on the SD card per controller RC2
And on the drone … but nothing on the SD card when I wanted to place on my iPhone. Using card adapter !

Have you not a pc or laptop you can plug the sd card in ? If it’s on the drone can you not pull them off there ?
I know very little if at all about the RC 2, so am I correct in saying you had the sd card in the drone ? With the settings saving to the card, maybe a dodgy sd adapter, I would try & plug into a laptop or pc to get to the route of the problem first .

The SD Card in the drone is where all the high res images will be stored if the drone is set to store them on the card :thinking:

If not they will be stored in the drone’s internal memory

To check go to the Fly app with the drone switched on and connected
go to the camera setting and check it is set to SD Card and also format it

Yes … check it on SD storage. :+1:. And formatt the card .sorry to say … no different… still no photos / vids on SD card… on my Mavic Mini 3 Pro. It ok !! No problem
Some reason it not happening on mini 4 pro drone ??

I have the same issue, quite frustrating after buying the SD card and Card reader, anyway i have been told that it records and takes pics using internal memory, you can then download using the dji app onto your SD card or send it to youre other devices that way.
There is a youtube vid where a solution has been found however it still is a mystery to me.

Wait……

Are we not taking about the photos and videos that are taken by the drone and stored on the SD card that is in the Dji mini 4 drone :person_shrugging:

Hi Sparky, there is an issue trying to do it that way, the chap on the you tube channel has done a decent vid highlighting the issue.
