I just got a notification on my phone that there was a major upgrade to the DJI Fly app. And advice on how to upgrade.

Just scan the QR code.

With my phone?

Someone hasn’t thought this through …

Android. The well known Hotwav Cyber 8 phone.

So, if your solution works why say “scan the QR code” instead of “screenshot this page and try it in a QR reader of your choice” ?

I got the same. Does this indicate that the DJI Fly app on my phone won’t get automatically upgraded to the new version like it always has in the past?

I upgraded by going to the app which offered me the option to upgrade.

I tend to be very wary of DJI upgrades, especially firmware. Complications often arise and many of the upgrades seem to be to fix the bugs that the previous upgrade introduced.
