Did @notveryprettyboy enjoy it?

It looked very impressive in person. Obviously being in 3d.

Watched th full footage. Sound as a pound, impressiveđź‘Ť

What was the noise like?

Always meant to read about the protocols involved in large drone displays…

eg.

If you need 200 drones, what percentage of backup drones do you need.

Is it a mad rush to swap the batteries out, or if say 200 drones are needed , would they bring another 200 plus contingency?

Anyone knowledgeable on this?

Couldn’t here them over the crowd really

Bizarrely was flying with someone who does these events on Sunday. (not sure making 100s of of drones, and charging and storaging batteries for a living might do my head in). Totally forgot to ask him all these questions too! I know the legal hoops they have to jump through are pretty crazy.

But hey if you’re a man who by some random chance of birth, gets a spangly hat dance, 11.5k police, quarter of a billion spent on various things inc. your own concert, I guess if you want a nice drone display, you can get it :smiley: :smiley:

Interesting:

300 ~ 500 drones and 3 swarms… each done with ~ 30 mins flight time… Thats a lot of dones to manage… impressive!

(I struggle with one at a time!)

Good info, thanks for all the links!

Edit: had never heard of the the Uvify IFO or its Intel equivalent the Shooting Star, that are used in displays. Anyone else heard of them (that aren’t fleet owners)

Interesting stuff!

I had visions of someone building 100’s of them as custom one offs… {I guess I’m getting old}
