Join me for a cinematic 10-minute journey through Kiplin Hall — a remarkable 17th-century house tucked into the Vale of Mowbray in North Yorkshire. This video combines 4K drone footage, ground-level walkthroughs, and a narrated deep dive into the surprising history of this quiet Jacobean gem.

Hi Colin. Great video. Did you have any problem with permission to fly?
2 years ago they had a very relaxed attitude to drones providing insurance paperwork was logged in. Then it all stopped because of input from their insurers.
Regards Chris.

No Chris, didn’t ask, which is my policy TBH, better to beg forgiveness and all that! ![]()
I took off from the iron gates very close to the building and didn’t try to hide from anyone, but didn’t do anything to draw attention either. Used an mini 4 Pro and took it up to about 80m before I did any low stuff. Not a peep from anyone, but it was early November (hence the explosion of colours) in the middle of the week and reasonably cold.
